This privacy policy explains what data we collect on our website, why we collect it, and on what legal basis we process it. - Hosting and provision of the website (server log files)
When you visit our website, the web server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, in particular:
- IP address (where possible, shortened/anonymized)

- requested page/file

- status code / access status
Purposes: technical provision, stability, security (e.g. prevention of attacks), error analysis.

Retention: log files are typically stored for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.

- Contact (email / contact form)
If you contact us by email or via a contact form, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, message) to handle your request.
Purposes: handling requests, initiating/performing contracts, communication.
Legal basis:
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / performance of a contract), where applicable
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication) for other inquiries
Retention: we store inquiries only as long as necessary for processing and as required or justified by statutory retention obligations.
- WhatsApp Business (communication)
We offer you the option to contact us via WhatsApp Business. When you use WhatsApp, personal data (in particular your phone number, possibly your profile name, message content and metadata) is processed. Please note that WhatsApp is a third-party service; data is also processed by WhatsApp itself.
Purposes: fast communication and handling of inquiries.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract initiation/performance) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (efficient communication).
Third-country transfers: WhatsApp may transfer data to third countries (e.g. the USA). WhatsApp refers to certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Depending on the setup, additional safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) may be relevant.
Note: Please avoid sending sensitive data (e.g. health data) or unnecessary confidential information via WhatsApp. You can always contact us by email instead.
- Scheduling (Calendly)
For scheduling we use (or plan to use) “Calendly” (Calendly LLC). When booking, personal data (e.g. name, email address, preferred time, possibly additional details) is processed to enable appointment scheduling.
Purposes: organizing and conducting introductory calls/meetings.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / contract performance) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (efficient scheduling).
Third-country transfers: Calendly may process data in the USA. Calendly refers to certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Depending on the setup, additional safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) may be used.
Important for the website setup:
- Ideally, Calendly is only loaded after your consent (consent settings / “two-click solution” / script blocking) or opened via an external link, to avoid unintended data transfers on page load.
- Cookies, consent management and device access (Germany: TDDDG)
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies. Technically necessary cookies are required to provide the website. For any non-essential cookies/technologies (e.g. statistics/marketing), we obtain your consent via a consent management tool (if used).
